Where can I buy UGG Australia® Products and do you ship internationally?
It’s one of our most common enquiries — and we completely understand why. Our boots have a global following, and if you’ve discovered UGG Australia® through a friend, a stockist, or a search, you’re probably wondering how to get a pair delivered to your door, wherever in the world you are.
The short answer: yes, you can — just not through uggaustralia.com.au. Here’s why, and where to go instead.
Why UGG Australia® Can’t Ship Internationally
Due to trademark restrictions, products bearing the name “UGG” cannot be shipped outside of Australia. This is a legal reality of the global trademark landscape — not a limitation of our product or our willingness to serve you.
Our Australian website uggaustralia.com.au and Melbourne Factory Outlet serve domestic customers only.
The International Option: Sheepskins Downunder®
For international customers, we have a dedicated global brand: Sheepskins Downunder®. Same product. Same sheepskin. Same tannery. Just a name that can travel.
Sheepskins Downunder® ships internationally and offers the full range of genuine Australian sheepskin boots and slippers made right here in Australia.

How to Identify Our Products
Both UGG Australia® and Sheepskins Downunder® share the same authentication marks. Here’s what to look for.
THE DIAMOND LOGO, SOUTHERN STAR AND KANGAROO
Every boot carries our signature diamond-shaped heel badge featuring the brand name, southern star and kangaroo. Both UGG Australia® and Sheepskins Downunder® use the same diamond logo format — look for it stitched onto the heel counter at the back of the boot or logo on open back products.

THE FIRST STITCH GOLDEN TAG
Inside every boot, you’ll find our golden yellow label — stitched directly into the lining from the very first stitch. It is never added externally post production or attached externally. The label includes our brand name, tannery details, and confirmation that the boot was made and tanned in Australia.
Both UGG Australia® and Sheepskins Downunder® carry this tag. If it’s not sewn in, it isn’t ours.

What Makes the Product Genuine?
Whichever brand name you order under, here’s what you’re getting:
- 100% genuine twin-face sheepskin — never bonded wool, synthetic blends, or suede laminated to single-face sheepskin
- We are the only company manufacturing and using Australian Made Sheepskin. Tanned at Australia’s last remaining sheepskin tannery
- Cut, stitched, and glued in Australia under Australian Made certification
- 1st Stitch Golden Label stitched (never added externally post production) into the lining of every boot: “Tanned in Australia / Made in Australia”
- Uniquely Traceable from farm to finished boot.
A Word of Caution When UGG Boots Shopping
Whichever brand name you order under, here’s some tips:
The global market for sheepskin boots is full of products that borrow the language of authenticity — “Australian sheepskin”, “wool”, “plush” — while often being majority synthetic in composition, manufactured offshore, with no country of origin traceability.
When shopping, look for:
- A brand name that is consistent and registered (not generically overused “UGG Boots”, “UGG Classic”, “UGG Original”, “UGG Outlet”, etc.)
- An Australian Made certification
- A transparent name and address for their registered business or factory location.
- A stitched label inside the boot confirming Australian Made — a missing country of origin is a red flag
- Check if the products are double face or twinface sheepskin, all other materials are cheap knockoffs which won't last or keep you warm.
The global market for sheepskin boots is full of products that borrow the language of authenticity — “Australian sheepskin”, “wool”, “plush” — while often being majority synthetic in composition, manufactured offshore, with no country of origin traceability.
UGG Australia® has been crafting genuine Australian sheepskin boots since 1981. Now in its second generation, we remain the only manufacturer tanning and making UGG boots on Australian soil.
